Join the Ottawa County Democratic Party!

The Michigan Democratic Party (MDP) is a membership organization composed of independent organizations at the Precinct, County, District and State level.

The Ottawa County Democratic Party (OCDP) is the MDP unit serving Ottawa County. When you join the MDP and reside in Ottawa County, you become a member of the OCDP. Please join us to help elect Democrats at all levels of government!

MDP membership is open to all Michigan residents age 16 and older, and all who apply for membership are accepted. To ensure equal opportunity for all, financial contributions are not required for MDP membership. However, both the MDP and the OCDP are financially independent and self-funding, and all members are encouraged to support the organizations with donations.

Donations to the MDP help fund statewide operations and state level staff.  The MDP’s baseline suggested annual membership donation is $10.00. One of these two options is REQUIRED, and will begin your membership in BOTH the MDP and OCDP.

After you join the MDP, use the link below to consider a membership donation to OCDP (recommended but not required). These donations are critical to fund county party operations and support local candidates running for office!
